Had my first fitting today for my wedding dress. I absolutely loveee my dress....Just disappointed that alterations cost so darn much!. My dress was $1000 and the alterations between switching it to corsette so it fits better is $225 then bustle is $150 then regular alterations meaning hem and whatever else is another $200 plus its about $600 just for alterations its insane. How much did you all have to pay for alterations when all was said and done?

Hi Marquita, I had my train removed and hemmed. Corset (undergarment) sewn into the bodice and free pressing for $200. Also one bridesmaid dress was $25 to have the bodice taken in. This was through a private seamstress; not a bridal salon.
