I purchased my wedding gown at paradise bridal in Patchogue, but am hesitant about having it altered there because of the mixed reviews. Does anyone have any advice? Is there a good seamstress there that I can trust? If not where can I go? Please help.
I had my alterations done there. I needed quite a but of altering done. I didn't like the way the seamstress was towards me (comments and stuff) but she really did quite an amazing job and the dress fit great on my wedding day....
I'm interested to hear too, because I also got my dress at Paradise Bridals. But my BM and FMIL have shopped there for years, and said they've always done a great job with alterations on prom dresses, evening gowns, etc.
I got my dress and all of my bm dresses there too. My alterations were perfect. The seamstress was a little abrupt but she did a great job. All of my BM dressess came in to big and they fixed them without any problems.

I ordered my dress from them, but took it with me... see my review for more details... i ended up taking my gown to Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point... they were excellent... Paradise ruined my MIL's super expensive gown...
