Have any of you ladies had your dress alterted by them I purchase my dress there and was just wondering

A friend on mine had hers done there - she wasn't thrilled. They were not horrible by far, but she said the seamstress by far wasn't as nice as the salespeople. Oh, and if they say the cap is $300, expect to pay the whole $300 (if not more).
