Ok so i'm still having trouble figuring out where to buy my dress. I've done all the research and I know i'm getting a good price.
Two places offered me the same price but i'm not 100% comfortable with the place I originally looked at the dress even though I've heard they do an amazing job.
I know the owner at TWC is really annoying but I'm trying to put this aside for my decision. The people there were really nice when I went to look at dresses a few weeks ago. They don't sell Bonny at the store but can get the dress for me. They even said they'd match the other quote I was given. I might even end up paying a little bit less there.
Just curious about how much anyone else paid for alterations?
Also, i wanted to know if you were satisfied with the results? I haven't really seen many comments about this when I did a search.

I had alterations done there for a BM dress once, and they were HORRIBLE, if you can go somewhere else I would strongly recommend it!

Hi! I have had 2 dresses altered there and they did wonderful jobs! One dress I had bought there, the other I bought at another store. They charged $59 for each BM dress. I needed a lot taken in and since I got extra length (i am 5'11) i needed the bottom then hemmed...both dresses were perfect.
I ordered my bridal gown there...no problems. Dress came in within 4 months...picked it up and have it at my house. I am hoping the alterations with my gown will go as smoothly and fit as perfectly! I will be headed back in November to start my alterations!

Have you tried calling Burton's at all?
I got a reasonable quote from CWC, then called Burton's and they beat it. They didn't have my dress but ordered it for me, as well as the BMs dresses (got a good discount from getting it all there), and I went for my first fitting a couple weeks ago and they're prices for alterations are good too. I know people that have gotten dresses there in the past and I haven't heard any complaints yet.
Just a suggestion!

I'm getting my flowers from them and I got a BM dress from them and had no problems.
However, my sister got her BG there and had a lot of problems with alterations. They didn't fix her dress on top and basically refused to even admit that it was way too big for her. Because of that my mom doesn't want me to go there.

for alterations---check with Phyllis at Bridal Elegance. i didn't buy my dress from her, but had it altered there and she did an AMAZING JOB on my gown. by the time she was done, i felt like it was a glove on me and that it was MEANT for me!

I paid $85 for brides maid alterations for my cousins wedding. I'm not too crazy about the place in general and I don't know why. They did a good job though.

I don't like to be negative about anyone especially since she's a vendor on here, but she was a little bit unprofessional with me. Said some really nasty things about other dress places and it turned me off. Thats where I originally saw the dress though. I'm just not certain I want to go with her because of everything.

Ok, ALL SALONS ARE NICE WHEN YOU ARE BUYING THE DRESS. Don't go by that at all. I know TWC in Commack is horrible for a lot of things, especially alterations. Go to the other place.
