alterations... help!

Does anyone have recommendations for a great independent place or person who specializes in wedding dress alterations? I don't think I want to get my dress altered at the place I bought it from. Any recos are appreciated! Is anyone else not getting their dress altered at the place they bought it from?

:) :)

alterations... help! - Long Island Weddings

my FH's aunt works out of her house in bay ridge and has been making wedding gowns for over 30 years.. if you feel like making a trip to brooklyn you can send me a FM :)

She is really great at what she does- I just didn't want to any alterations with her because I'm marrying into the family and felt like I wouldn't be able to be honest if I didn't like something.. My sister used her though
