alterations in nassau county

I've asked this before without too many responses - bought my dress off the rack at Davids but won't go back for the alterations dt the horror stories - wedding is two months away and I don't know where to go! any suggestions???? thanks!

The only tailor I've used in Nassau County was one that worked at Jimmy Jam Cleaners in Merrick -- I think it's on Jerusalem Blvd. It was this sweet Italian man who took in a cocktail dress of mine and altered my FI's suit. And he was did it in a total rush because we were under the gun.

All I know is that he did great work for us --> but I don't know how extensive your alterations are... changing a wedding dress is a lot different from making changes to a cocktail dress...

You could always go over & meet with him & discuss what changes you need and see what he says. I don't think he'd take on the job if he wasn't equiped to do it correctly...
