Alterations Near Bethpage?

I just picked up my dress from David's Bridal. I'm in LOVE with my dress, but I've heard such bad things about the alterations department there. I've decide to look for another place to get alterations done. Does anyone know a reputable, reasonably priced place near Bethpage?

Estelle's recommended a woman named Helen in Bethpage, has anyone had any experiences with her?

I've seen a lot of people on here recommend My Daughter's Wedding, but I'm hoping to maybe find a place closer.

I guess there are no suggestions for the Bethpage area. Any suggestions outside? I'm kind of at a loss, and I don't want to trust just anyone with my dress.

I just can't seem to find very much information about seamstresses online and I'm not originally from the area, so that limits my ability to ask around.
