I am going to pick up my dress soon, YAY!! but I am not having alterations done at the place that I bought it. Can anyone suggest places (in Westchester/NYC/or Nassau county) where I can get it done w/o paying an arm and a leg?

My sister got her gown altered at PM Boutique in Oceanside when the place she bought it went out of business. The ladies there were amazing to work with and the seamstress was absolutely wonderful!
Charisol's. It's in Flushing on Northern Boulevard. My friend years ago wouldn't let David's Bridal touch her dress....they did great work on her dress.

try calling Maria's Perfect Fit in Williston Park (Nassau). i used to go to her all the time for BM gown alterations, sweet 16, prom, etc. Not sure how much she'd charge for a wedding gown, but she was pretty reasonable for everything else.

My sister had her alterations done by her and she did a fabulous job. Her bridal salon's price was really high but she was ale to get her alterations done here for a great price.
