Alterations...gimme a realistic $ amount for 'em.

Alterations...gimme a realistic $ amount for 'em.

I'm getting the straps taken in a bit.

And a bustle.

The bustle is not going to be anything all that intricate; since I'm changing into Indian clothes after the ceremony, I don't need one with a huge 'WOW' factor. But I do want one, because I am going to put it back on from the cake-cutting to the end of the reception.

I'm not going back to David's for it; I'm using a local tailor that is recommended by the Alexandra boutique (Forest Hills). And Jayne. (Thanks!!!)

What kind of $$$ am I looking at here?

bridal reflections charging me 95 for bustle and removable straps for 30$.. so u shoudl pay that much or less.. but 200$ to be safe.. i like to over estimate

I paid $150 for shortening straps, taken in at bust and the hem, and then 150 for a french bustle so I'd say no more than that

Our cap is $250 and somehow no matter how little you have done, it always hits that cap.

yeah the 500 is a cap, but i'm pretty sure they'll come up with excuses to charge the full thing... its the pronovias sister line but i mean its the village bridal itself doing the work and charging so high!!

same here. and this includes bustle. i honestly didnt mind that it reached the cap since they had to take the whole dress in about a size+, hem it, and do a 13 point bustle!!! and shorten the straps.

i did have to pay an extra $15 ON TOP of the cap to have cups put in, which i think is just kinda stupid tho
