After I read a few of the post about the Wedding Center in Commack, I have to say that when I first went there I was pissed off and this was after looking at almost 20 dresses, they had the dress I wanted so I got it from there.
Oh yeah they talked me into going one size bigger, but when I picked the dress up, it seems to now be 2 sizes too big...I know they dont have a cap on the alterations and the lady told me that I would need at least $250 worth...
Does anyone have any good places that I can go?

i didn't buy my gown from her, and she altered my gown for me. the alterations and bustle were $250 and she did an AMAZING job on it. hemmed it up,. and took it in on the side a lot!

Here is all her info... Bridal Elegance This is from phylis We open daily at 11AM. Monday & Wednesday we are open until 7PM, Tuesday & Thursday until 9PM, Friday until 6PM, Saturday until 5PM. Closed Sunday.

My bustle and alterations capped at 175 but that is because I bought my dress there.

umh!!! see that's what I am afraid of. having to pay extra for the alterations because I didnt purchase the gown there. this is a real problem for me now
