Me too. It's a tradition in my mother's family that the bride walk to Ave Maria, so that's what I'll be doing.

Re: Alternate to Here Comes the Bride???
I love Air (Bach) or Erev Shol Shoshanim. Second one is probably not helpful, lol. But, the first one is absolutely gorgeous and not the typical Wedding Story song.
ETA: There is Love is also fabulous and so many different versions. Check it out, LP.

Re: Alternate to Here Comes the Bride???
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach. I can sit and make you an entire list if you'd like, of alternatives. I'm a music teacher, and when I told my 7th graders about Wagner, who wrote Here Comes the Bride, and how a lot of brides won't use it because he was such an anti-semite, they came up with a list of alternatives for me to use They're so cute! So anyway, I have a bunch if you'd like. Usually anything from the Baroque time period works really well.

I walked down the aisle to the theme from Life is Beautiful. It was instrumental. I had a harpist- Janet King- and it sounded beautiful.

I walked in to The Wedding Song by Kenny G. I had a piano player and sax players who were friends of ours play it, and it was beautiful.

FH requested I march down to a song by Ruff Endz- R & B group. I've listened to it and it is a beautiful song. Plus, I do not like the traditional wedding march song. Just not me!!

I like Canon in D too, which is what I think I want to use, but I am not sure what to use for the bridal party entrance for the ceremony.
