alternative entertainment

Besides a dj, what types of entertainment is good for a wedding. My family is not big dancers and I feel like im going to need some other entertainment besides a dj. any advice?

I hear some people do book alternative entertainment. Usually a Jazz trio for background music and light dancing, a belly dancer, a comedian, bollywood dancers, casino night theme...we did this for my friend's 30th bday... had a blast. You can hire people to do a lot of things...wine tasting, etc. Good Luck!

i'd get a couple of singers maybe, ballroom dancers to put on a dance for you, umm.. yeah.
Kind of like the nutcracker where everyone dances for you!

we have a dinner singer who will be singing sinatra, dean martin, etc
