My FG's are super excited to wear fancy dresses, my RB is not excited at all to wear a suit. In fact he wants to wear his soccer kit!
Does anyone have any ideas of an alternative to a suit for ring bearers? He'll be 6.

you're weddings almost a year away, don't stress it yet... when it gets closer just make it a point to look at pictures of boys in suites around him and ooh and ahh... get other people in on it, so he'll think 'i want people to ooh and ahh over me.. i wanna wear a suit'.
because he's 5 going on 6 (right?) he's likely to change his mind in a year.

I agree - little boys do change their minds....but, I have seen little boy RB in an all white short set with button down and tie or bow tie - I don't know if he would wear this but that is an option and it works since your getting married in the summer

I agree. You have a lot of prep time to get him excited. How about letting him wear a pair of black converses with his suit?

He lives in England and my sister is way too unreliable to put the work in to getting him excited about a suit (no offense to her - she's chasing 3 young kids around and works 2 jobs). He is excited about the limo so blackmail may be the only option. I just really want people to be comfortable, including the kids. Maybe I'll just let him wear the soccer kit, his team kit is my wedding color!
And I know I have a lot of time to prep, I just like bouncing around ideas, and I already have a lot of stuff done thanks to my super organized (almost controlling) FMIL, it was not meant to be an urgent post...
