ALTERNATIVE SHOWER LANGUAGE
My dear Mom has gone on to her reward now but I can still hear her laughing with the clerk in the bakery as we ordered the sheet cake for my sisters' shower.
My sister and I both HATED the typical 'Showers of Happiness' and would always groan at all showers when we read that. Needless to say I refused to put it on anything related to her shower.
You can only imagine the giggles from all and the thanks from my sister when she read her cake.
Monsoons of Joy!!!
The bakery clerk had no idea what a monsoon was so we had to spell it and explain it to him. To this day, at any shower we go to, my sister and I groan at 'Showers of Happiness' and laugh with great memories of our mom. Inevitably an attendee brings up her cake and we all laugh again..![]()
