I dont think i could do away with it. personally, i would much rather take a lesson or two with my pops then totally 86 it .
Im very sentimental and i feel like there are so many girls who wish they could have a father daughter dance.. and i wouldnt want to look back years from now and regret it.
This is obvi just my opinion, but i couldnt do it! I cant even think of another option, so my comment was useless lol!!

maybe i could let him...sing or something LOL 3 mins seems PAINFULLY long to rock back and forth when neither of you are into the idea

my father is legally blind, shorter than me, a little hard of hearing, with very broken English .... LOL
he is not shy- but dancing isn't something he does...EVER
**sigh** my FH will dance with his mom - she will want too- BUT my dad wouldn't mind if i killed our dance LOL
