I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and bought the best things! They had those small hanging rose balls for $3 a piece. I'm going to use them instead of pew bows or paying for more flowers. I would have made something, but I don't think I could have done better for $3. Just a suggestion.

I don't even know if they're silk, for $3 I would assume not. They're really very pretty and I thought they would add nice color. I don't have my digital camera so I can't post pics. Does anyone have a photo?

I saw them, and I was thinking the same thing. I think they're adorable, and I'd totally use them, but we already decided to go with ones that match our other flowers from our florist.

Yeah, they are little pomanders, or kissing balls. They had them in a few colors, but I don't remember exactly, so I won't guess. They were something like this:

Very pretty! Do you happen to remember if pink was one of the colors? Thanks! :o)

I'm pretty sure pink was one of the colors. Maybe you could call the craft department before you go just to make sure.

To be honest, I went straight in for the dark red, but I do remember them having an assortment of colors and pink was one of them. I think they even had yellow, white and a lighter red too.

if anyone wants to make them... i think you get a styrofome ball at michaels, then at the local dollar store(next to outaback in westbury) they had a thing of 6 full bloom roses for $1.. they had white, deep red, and orange...... good if you want to make on your own...

I made a couple with hydrangea flowers, and it while it was very easy, it was still time consuming. IMO, the walmart ones are a bargain at $3 since you don't have to do any work.

anyone have a picture of what they look like on the pews?? It might be nice to alternate them with a bow.
