alternative to tux

we're getting married at the atlantica 9/18/04, and we wondering what else to have the guy's wear besides tux's

i've thought of blue blazers with khaki's but i think if the guys have to buy it's a big expense especially for those who don't dress up often

we're getting married at Atlantica as well and decided to go the blue blazers and khakis route. We actually got a great deal on pants and shirts at a Brooks Brothers friends & family sale and all the guys already had blue blazers to wear so they don't have to buy that. Basically for the cost of renting a tux they own the pants and shirts. (and ties which we're paying for).

Another good option would be to put all the GM in dark suits with the same ties. Most guys have at least that.
