We're going to be getting married outdoors and having a unity candle really isn't going to work. Does anybody have any different ideas or suggestions?

We're going to be doing the sand ceremony since our ceremony is outside as well.

Well have you looked into cultural tradition. My fiance and I are jumping the broom which is an african american tradition and we'd also like to include a puerto rican wedding tradition, but we're not sure.
I saw a very cute idea... you could do a sand ceremony. You get colored sand and a very pretty engraved vase and while the officiant is speaking you two take turns pouring the sand in the vase. For an outdoor wedding that would be really nice.Sand Ceremony
