I am looking for a non traditional band to play at my wedding. I would like someone who played a good mix of the oldies but also included a lot of todays current alternative music. And I don't mean Top 40!!
Does anyone know of a good alternative wedding band? Has anyone heard of the band from Boston called Brick Park? I would love to hear about any reviews out there on this band!
Thanks, T

Re: Alternative Wedding Bands
Try this website. elanartists.com I found my really great, yet really different band there (eric nicolas and one love). Prices are average, but the bands sound exceptional - and are not traditional. I found the website through brides.com.

Re: Alternative Wedding Bands
Check out my band, they are awesome!click me their site is under construction, but I would def. give them a call. We are NOT into cheasy music at all. My FH went to a wedding where they played 3 years ago, he said he danced the most at the wedding then any other one he'd been too...also the lead singer, Nicole, is absolutely amazing...they play at a lot of bars on the weekend when they are not doing weddings so you can check them out.,we did that, and we brought our friends along, they really work the crowd, without being too emcee like. HTH Good luck!

Re: Alternative Wedding Bands
I would definately go with the mystic. They are great. When they're not doing weddings they play mostly classic rock at local bars but they can play everything. They aren't your typical band. I think the wedsite is themysticmusic.com

Re: Alternative Wedding Bands
i think that Renegade is absolutely amazing....i've always been against bands in fear of them butchering songs...but they are the only band that really 'Wow'd' me!!!! they pull off just about ANYTHING!!!!! i'm not kidding...they're incredible. here's their website http://www.liparamount.com/renegade/index.html (it wouldn't let me make a link so just copy & paste it into ur browser)...i'm pretty sure there is all song samples on there too....good luck!
