Alternatives to North Ritz Club??
We fell in love with NRC and booked it on the spot 5 years ago for a 2006 wedding. We had to postpone, but now we're replanning a smaller wedding. We may stick with NRC (they still have some of our $$) but could you please give suggestions for other places I might like that might be cheaper?
I really liked the layout of the ballroom at NRC. The HUGE granite dance floor, and the fact that everyone is in one area with one view (not a t-shaped room, or tiers), and the long mahogany bar, and the ceiling. I like the CH room, and especially the fact that it's one wedding at a time. also like that no one I know has ever had a wedding there before.
Dislike- the limited grounds, bathrooms on another floor, FAKE fireplace in bridal suite.
Any suggestions?
I'm hoping to get something $100 pp or less with a guarantee of 150 (capacity for 180 though).
Flexible about dates, but for budget sake we're thinking Saturday eve in the fall/winter or a Sunday of a holiday weekend.
