Sometimes I sit here... salivating over the very thought of going through FH's wardrobe as we pack up our things to move in together and being like 'Um.. no. This will not be joining us in this new chapter of our lives.'
Or just like... without saying anything removing them from existance.

If that makes you a bad FW, I am right behind you. I cannot wait to throw out his 11 year old old navy pullover fleece. Seriously...we own dust rags in better shape.
so. outta. here.

Re: Am I a terrible future wife?
hahaha you only have a problem with his clothes?
FH and I just moved in together 2 weeks ago and I never realized how much crap he had, or how attached he still was to his frat.

Re: Am I a terrible future wife?
No. FH is a teacher and he's like a revolving disaster-thon of papers on top of papers and papers.
Every three weeks or so (we dont live together) he'll be like 'I'm going to go through my papers today.'
And I'll ask him if he's going to throw them out. 'No I need them.' 'BACK THEM UP ON YOUR COMPUTER'
Yeah. Needless to say - I registered for file cabinets for him and whatever doesn't fit in them... he has to throw out.

Definitely not a terrible FW at all! I threaten to throw away many of FH's items daily...haven't done it yet...but one day I plan on them disappearing.

Noo you're not terrible, there are a lot of things i want to get rid of too when we move in together... FH has an extensive lava lamp collection and he seriously suggested that when we move in together, we put the 2 biggest lava lamps he has on each side of our TV... Ummm... No lol

Haha yea apparently when he was younger he really wanted one and his dad said no, so when he was old enough he bought a lot because he wasnt allowed when he was younger... He THINKS they are coming with us when we move lol... But seriously... 2 on each side of the TV in the living room?? I was like, you're joking right??

Why do parents say no? I always wanted a lava lamp since I was like 12 and my parents said no too. Except when I was old enough to get one I stopped caring about it so much. But I can feel his pain there.
When my MOH moved in with her boyfriend she quietly disposed of a few items...

You are doing him a favor! I slowly buy new clothes for FH then 'borrow' tees and shirts (throw em out) and let him use the new things.
Makes him happy.

I throw out socks, boxers and undershirts that have 'seen better days' when I 'do him a favor' of doing his laundry.
Secretly I only do the laundry so that I have the easy access to clothes --> garbage.
But yeah, I've already started building up the 'new' collection.
The 2010/2011 'Bill collection'.
vs. the 1995/1996 collection because most of his clothes are probably that old.
And hold on.

FH won't get rid of the socks and t-shirts and boxers that have 'seen better days'....he actually told me he likes the holes and that the holes remind him of good memories.

Just a warning...I still haven't been forgiven for Tiegate 2009 when I secretly lifted all of FH's terrible ties and put them in the Temple garage sale and he found out.
That was me trying to weed out undesirable things without FH knowing...now I just argue with him about them until he wears down and lets me do what I want.
