Ok, Barbershop 2 comes out today. DH and I have been waiting for this movie. I know that these type of movies sell out quick, so I went to the Lowe't Theatre on 34th st yesterday afternoon to buy my tickets ahead of time, the young lady then asks me if I want reserved seating for an extra $5 dollars, so I did it. No standing on lines and we have reserved seats. I have never done such a thing, my husband thinks I am a nut
Sorry, but I hate rushing through the crowds trying to get a good seat.
Have any of you done this before?

I have bought tix ahead of time (actually I didn't a friend of DH's did)...as a matter of fact also for tonight for the premiere of Miracle...but as far as reserved seats go...never heard of it...but I definitely would reserve seats if given that option...especially for the movies I see that I know are going to be crowded.

I think its worth it...I get totally stressed out thinking about not getting a crappy seat...

I actually like sitting in the front so I wouldnt go for it plus I can't see paying even more money to go to a movie.
But for people that really prefer sitting in a certain spot it's great.

DH and I did that once...but it wasnt worth it for us...maybe if the movie was a new release but we did it for a movie that had been out for a week or 2.

I wish my local theater offered that! I hate rushing around and getting snacks. I always wind up screwed with where I sit!
