Am I alone

Lately I haven't done anything with wedding planning. I've ever stopped searching the web. Before I was engaged and in the beginning of our engagement I COULDN'T STOP!! I don't know whats wrong with me

Have any of you ever felt like this??

you go thur slow periods when you take a break from planning I really did not do any planning the month of Aug. to begining of September!

sometimes, it can get a bit overwhelming that you just need to step away from it for a while and come back to it with a fresh start ......

don't worry - this happens all the time!! there are days in a row that its constantly wedding wedding wedding then a whole span where im just like......ummmmm no wedding talk or planning, I need a break!!

I get into moods... LOL

Some days I am crazy other days I am like I can't even fathom the idea to look up more wedding stuff... So I understand completely!

I went through a rut for awhile.
We got engaged at the end of December and I was so into all of the magazines and websites. Then we booked the hall (in the beginning of April) and I did squat until the end of August, when I started looking at dresses. Since then I've been more into it.

It's totally normal.

I'm so overwhelemed with other stuff that planning the wedding right now just feels like more stress with NO fun factor. I'm waiting a little bit until I can straighten out some on my personal issues to keep planning... b/c I have til 2 years from now.

But I know how you feel, everyone's talking abotu how much fun it is for them... and it's not right now for me. I think it's normal.

Take a break. You'll get excited again

I'm glad someone posted this question. I've been going through this on and off too...only usually lasts a week or 2. You'll get excited again don't worry! You have less then 11 months left!! now THATS exciting!

I'm not doing too much right now either. Which is kinda what I wanted cuz i have school work now.

I think there are a lot of us right now just killing time. I know once Jan comes i'm going to be in full bridesmaid dress mode.

You are definitely NOT alone. I think especially since we have a year or so left, it seems as if it's a lot of time but as it get closer, I'm sure we'll find our days once again consumed with wedding planning. Sometimes you just need a break to breathe and save

I felt like this also. For like, 2 months straight, I didn't do anything or even wanna look at anything. Once I had to see my florist in July to discuss bouquets and centerpieces and everything, I saw things starting to come together and I got back into it. I think everyone goes through slumps so don't worry!

I am right there with you!!! The last thing we booked was the photographer and that was in maybe April or May... and since then I have completely stopped ALL WEDDING PLANNING!!! I soo need to get back on track!!!

Our planning is like a rollercoaster... it's got ups and downs....

If I need to get something done, like save the dates, I will be searching for days... then it ends...

I feel like I know most of it already
