was invited to my friend' bridal shower awhile ago..rsvped yes right away....we found out we were able to move into my mom's a few weeks ago...last minute...we had to move out july 31...only day allowed.
same day as the bridal.. i called her sister and mom and i was upfront and said if you already paid or it's a problem please let me know and ill just leave early. it's 12-4 and we are starting 10...it's just going to be a pain to do both...i am going to go to my friends after the move with my girls and give her her gift and hang out.
is it fuckked UP??? i feel bad for canceling like that. be honest!

I think you're fine. FH's sister had to cut out early due to other obligations and it was fine. Mine actually ended a bit early anyway.

i had a few friends that had to cancel last min but they came over that evening to hangout....i still had some of my bp over we ate leftovers for dinner, it was nice to see my friends and hangout without being pulled in a million directions
