Hi girls. I just booked me hall last week for July '06. I have done nothing else except the church. I feel like so many of you have almost all your big things done already. Do I have to get moving?

Don't worry! You still have more than a year and most timelines recommend that you BEGIN a year in advance. There are also plenty of ladies here who planned their weddings in 10 months. Now that you have hall and church booked, start thinking about photographers. You'll be fine

You're fine! If you have the time and the inclination to book more things, go right ahead. But if you don't, you definitely have time. Just bear in mind, so many of us book things with more than a year to spare, that the good vendors might be booking fast.

U are so not behind. Just take your time. Dont go crazy thinking that u havent done antyhing. Everyone has their own pace.

Getting married next May...have as much done as you have right now.....
I am working on dj's, photographers... seeing which I wanna go see and probably i'll start making appointments by the end of this month.....
We're not behind...everyone is just really ahead!! j/k

We only have our reception hall and church booked. We have almost definitive decisions for the florist, photographer, and DJ....don't worry abou it! You have time!

do not worry nor panic...You have time...Everyone plans at their own pace...We did everything so we could relax for the last year & also so we could concentrate on a house

Aw, sorry to make you worry and panic. It's not that you're behind, it's just that we all want to get everything done right away so there's less on our to-do lists. You've got plenty of time and you seem to be moving at a fine pace, don't fret!

We are getting married in May next year.. I have the hall and DJ booked. The date was July 30, so now I feel a little more stressed than I was, because I have a holiday weekend now... I think we are going to book the photographer tomorrow.
But don't worry, you're definitely not behind!!

i think you are doing just fine...we are all just very anxious and excitited to get things done..and once you start planning you will be too@!!! not to say that youare not already.....
and while it seems like we have a lot done...its really not that much...especially when you have us to help you!!!

I agree, you are NOT behind. I am only this far ahead b/c I am a control freak!! and want to make sure I get the things I want! Whoa, I sound like such a B***h. Also, we have $ now, so I want to put as many deposits as I can and know exactly who/what/when we owe!

i am not too far ahead of you... but IMO it wouldnt hurt to start looking at vendors to see who you like and dont like...I personally started with band- cause i knew it was a biggie for me..and now i have moved on to photographers...didnt book yet but have appts.

Your fine. I only booked my hall and videographer and ordered my gown. I am taking my time. If you rush to try to get stuff done you will just make yourself crazy. That's why I am taking it easy. I made a list of the remaining vendors I will be making appts for. If you have questions for different vendors just ask on here. Everyone is so helpful. Before you know it you will be done. Don't stress!

You are fine! Plenty of time. If you're worried, you can start looking at vendors online and see if they're booked for you date, But I still think you are ok.
