My fmil, told my fiance to take the favors off the budget list, because she'll make them.. so I said oh, that's sweet, what is she planning on making. and she told Jon, not to worry about it she'll figure it out.. UMM.. I am going to worry about it, I had cute favor ideas, am I not going to have a say in this.. ????
or should I just shut up and take the favors..
I do think that it is VERY GENEROUS and SWEET of her, I just wanted to know what they are ya know??

instead of telling you that she is making them, she should have asked you if you wanted her to...
i would kindly ask her what she had in mind because you want to make sure it is in line with what you were thinking as far as the table setting goes...

i dont' think you're being unreasonable......i am very particular about those things also! I'd say talk to her about it and offer to help her pick them out! that way you can get your opinions in also

I would want to know what they are and ask her if it's something you can work on together. If you hate the idea, I would talk her out of them and have something else ready to suggest.

I would definitely talk to her about it and make sure you like what she is going to make. It's your wedding after all and that is one of the small things that is important not come off cheesey IMO.
If you do not like what she has in mind tell her you appreciate the efforts but you really had your heart set on.... or ..

you make me laugh. i have a feeling my fmil will decide she can make the favors to save us $$$$. which there is nothing wrong with, if you like crap, which is what it will look like.
