FSIL just got 2 tattoos yesterday with the wedding 11 days away...one on her back and one of her outter wrist...and she also put bigger gauge earrings in her ears... (after i just bought Day of jewelry for the girls)
like i know i dont have any say in telling ppl they can't have tattoos b/c really i have 3 myself and most of my girls have tattoos but i just dont see how she coudln't wait 11 more days....i've been putting off 2 tattoos till after MY DAY just because!
im not really pissed im just like a lil ticked off lol..

I am in no way saying she is wrong or right. The only reason I am hoping she couldn't wait was the schedule or the artist. I know that my favorite artist books up so quickly, and I have to book months in advance. So if I had an appointment I wouldn't want to miss, plus you can loose your deposit. However, I think if that were the case she should have at least spoke to you about. Just to give you a heads up so you wouldn't be like 'whoa!'. The earring thing would bother me more than the tattoos.

yeah noo her friend did them so i know it wasn't an issue about an appointment or design thing. and really if you were to see what she actually got you would be even a il more ticked haha ( i think is pretty freaking cool) but she could of waited ...ugh...she got the pixilated mushroom from nintendo mario brothers..on her right shoulder and the BM dresses will FULLLLLY expose that...
yeah the earring thing, i told FH that he will have to tell her take them out..NOOOO way will she be wearing those

Not sure if this is a possibility since some people are touchy about body art, but your makeup artist might be able to airbrush her tattoos so that they will not be seen in your pictures. I am doing this for my sister. She has a HUGE evil looking fairy that takes up a third of her back and no way am I having that be seen in my wedding pics.

Um...I wouldnt care but everyone is different...it just may have been a good time for her to get the work done...I don't think someone would do that to make you mad. Don't be mad...everyone will be looking at you regardless of who is tattooed and who isn't...it will add more diversity to the day..LOL

ok i guess im gonna be the bad guy here but i dont really think you should be annoyed. its her body and her life so she can get them when she wants. just because she is in your wedding doesnt mean she needs to wait to do something she wants to do.
in the end its JUST a tattoo...no one is gonna care. its so common to see. i HIGHLY doubt that on your wedding day..you will be focusing on her mushroom tattoo

I wouldn't consider you crazy to be pissed about it since everyone reacts different to things. It personally wouldn't bother me but I tend to let those kinds of things slide right off me.

I would never tell someone what they can or cant do to their own body but 2 tattoos and those things in the ears 11 days before the wedding would bother me too. Either get it done months before the wedding or after. Esp when it effects the jewlery you are giving to her as a gift. I would be a little tiffed too
