So I just made an appt to meet with a priest at my church to set us the ceremony. I know this might sound funny, but I'm nervous! I am Catholic and really only go to church for weddings and funerals (same with FH). Should I be? I feel like we are going to get yelled at.

I don't think they will yell at you- alot of people only go to church on holidays and special occasions. Are you guys going through pre-cana with the same priest? Sometimes if they know you plan on raising your children catholic, they aren't so over bearing....
I am kind of in the same boat though- my FH is jewish, and I ( a Lutheran) have to meet with refrormed rabbis...there is not guesswork on that meeting- I will be getting yelled at.

Don't be nervous!! FH and I go to church rarely as well...and when we go we really never go to my church (which is where we are getting married). When we met with the priest, he didn't even ask about if we go to church or not. I know that obviously every priest is different but I don't think that it is something that you should worry about. I actually enjoyed meeting with the priest!
