Am I completely....

behind in the whole wedding planning process?? FH and I are getting married in Oct or 2007 and have only booked our hall. We're mailing our engagement party invites this week and are planning hopefully booking the DJ by the end of the week. in reading everyones profile, I feel like i'm COMPLETELY behind. Some of you girls amaze me!! I don't know how you do it. Should I have more stuff done by now??

no way!!!! remember this.....take your time and enjoy it!!!! there will be plenty of vendors left for your date! dont book just anyone!!!! you'll be fine!

It depends on when you got engaged. I've been engaged well over a year already so I started planning early. I think your photography, videography if you want it should be next on the list since many of the good ones go quickly. Pace yourself though, don't gauge where you should be based on some of the brides here. Some people are big on planning early (like me) but I've always been this way.

I felt the same way at first...I'm in Nov. of 07 and I was freaking out but I just booked the band and we have decided to chill out for a bit now...need to make some money to do anything else. I think that after you book the music (which is pretty darn important) the photography is next but you have a good amount of time for it! HTH and Happy Planning!

I'm getting married in May '07 and all I have is my hall and the church. Were at the same place and your wedding is 5 months after mine. You'll be fine.

nah, your not behind - no sweat! Get done what you can when you can. Little steps at at a time - that's what gets it done!
