I was making my placecards tonight and I started to think about the invitations I was planning on ordering and how they're not going to match all my other stationary (menus, placecards, bathroom basket saying, etc). So I was thinking I should make my own invitations...am I crazy? Below is a picture of the invites and my favor tags and bathroom basket saying thingy...let me know what you would do...
No one is going to be bringing their invite to the wedding with them. You'll be the only person who would notice that they don't match. I think that everything you have is beautiful and you shouldn't stress yourself out.
i think you should make your invites..what you've done already looks great..im making my own invites they were way too expensive....

i agree that no one will realize. the matching stationary will be what people see on the day of your wedding. they definitely won't realize that the invites didn't match. and it's SOOOO much trouble, wouldn't you rather just order them since you're already going through the trouble of making the other stationary??
i'm making my own invites. i don't think that's crazy. if you're up for it, then go for it! =0)
I think if you have time and it's not going to stress you out too much, go for it. The other stuff you've made is amazing. But if not, no one other than you will realize the invites don't match the other items.
Thanks ... you guys make me feel so much better! I think I might just order the invites that don't perfectly match, because I only have 2 weeks until invites should go out, but I'm honestly still a little up in the air about it....I'm so indecisive!
