because FH works on the weekends in addition to his full time, i really can't waste time wandering around BB&B to do our registry. am i insane in wanting to make a list before we go? i could register for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING there... but i don't want to spend hours making decisions.. wouldn't it just be easier to have a general idea before you go?? i don't want to have EVERYTHING done, just a general of things we really want to register for and make sure we don't end up in BB&B for 9 hours and registering for a thousand things...
Did you get their list? When you sign up they give you a package that includes a checklist. I took it home and highlighted only the stuff we wanted. That way you know what you need before you get there.

Just go and put a couple of things on the registry and then you can do the rest online!

go online, i think they have a checklist online that can help you .. you can also add and delete oline too which might help you timewise

I started mine online. Then when FH had sometime we went there. Also remembr you don't have to do it all in one shot. It's fun to walk around and make choices but can be really overwhelming doing it all in one shop. When you are bored just take a ride and kill some time.

You can get away with doing everything online, just be careful, some stuff looks great on the internet and not so great in person, do what you can and don't worry too much, don't spend too much time wandering around, you'll be fine

I did a bunch online first and then just for fun, we went together and ordered a few more things that you can't really get a good feel for like bedding and dishes.
To save time and frustration, I also tried adding a bunch of things I liked (including 3 different sets of flatware) and then showed him and asked him to pick one and deleted the ones he didn't like.

I don't think you're crazy AT ALL! I was just saying in another thread I wish I would have looked on line and made a list before I went. It was sooo overwhelming to go and have NO clue what we wanted! Although it was fun, it would have been a lot more productive if we had 'prepared' a little beforehand! I think you're very smart to do it that way!
