so it just dawned on me that fh has transition lenses in his glasses... so does that mean that when we take our outdoor pics it's going to look like he's wearing sunglasses instead of regular glasses?? he thinks i'm insane

Haha it probably will look like that. Could he just leave them off for the outdoor pics? He doesn't really need to see!
ETA: Neither FH or myself will be wearing ours.

I have transition glasses too. I also thought of when I come in the church from outside my glasses will still be dark when walking down the aisle. If I take them off before walking down the ailse I may end up falling flat on my face. I also want to see FH as I am going to meet him at the alter. I am planning on getting contacts just for the day.

he does have contacts but i like him better in his glasses and he never wears his contacts anyway... so when he wears contacts he doesnt look like himself... oh well, i guess we'll just have to see what happens

My dad has transition glasses, and it totally looks like he's wearing sunglasses in all the outdoor pictures we took. Fortunately, we got married indoors, so those photos are fine.
If you don't want it to look like your FH is wearing sunglasses, have him get different glasses for the wedding.

yeah the lenses will darken and theyll appear darker in pics... i would ask him if he could take them off for outdoor pics or get contact lenses for the day (they have disposable ones)
