So I LOVED my make up trial, but I did not LOVE how it looked at the end of the night. From the time my make up gets done to the end of the party is 12 hours..so it needs to last a long time. After my trial, I went to a party, and after about 6 hours, I felt like I had sweated it off. I emailed the MU artist and she gave me solutions to what I said I didn't like by the end of the night. I trust her and love the job she did, but the product I'm weary about. I want to email her this morning and ask for another trial using the different product for oily skin. Am I crazy? My FH thinks I should do this bc make up is important. What do you think?

You aren't crazy- I did two trials with two different people and did NOT book on the spot. I wanted to see how the makeup wore throughout the day

your not crazy, you want to make sure you look your best at all times for your wedding! Go for as many trials as you need to make yourself happy. I personally went on 3 trials until I found someone I loved.

Did you use Airbrush make up? Mine lasted all the way til I took it oof =-) I used Kelly from Glam me up.

if this is a concern for you, RUN to oksana. her makeup stood the test of time. it was really heavy in the beginning but after an hour, it got AMAZING and more and more amazing into the night. she really knows what she's doing. it was a huge difference after the other trials i'd been on.

I've been having the same problem. I've now had 3 make-up trails with 3 different people. Regular and airbrush. Both by the 5 hour mark start to run off my face. Not so much the foundation part but my eye make-up starts to run onto my cheek. What's concerning me is that on the day of each of these trials, I haven't been doing anything after. Like no dancing, running around, nothing! I'm going for my 4th one this weekend. But has anyone else seen this happen or do I just have some crazy running eyes LOL??????

Your skin might be too oily. Before you go wash your face and use an astringent then when getting your make up done use a powder foundation on and through out the night make sure you reapply it to keep your skin dry

Its actually not oily at all. They keep putting lotion on my face and tell me its to 'set' the make-up in place. I'm thinking that may be the issue. Do you think?

it was airbrush!!! but not very heavily applicated. i just emailed her telling her that i want a new trial with products for oily skin. we'll see what happens. i really want to use her but i need it to last.

This especially concerned my mom since she has more oily skin than I do so I contacted Kelly and she gave me solutions and differnet products suggestions. I am going for another trail with her in about a month. Definately don't hesitate to try other artists or have multiple trials with the same! I find Kelly is great at listening to what you want!
