Am I crazy? - Long Island Weddings

Honestly, you have a right to be annoyed. I would be. They should respect that its YOUR wedding weekend. When there were things that pissed me off during the wedding process that had to do with other people, the only thing that gave me some sanity is knowing that most people would think, 'Wow, that's rude.' That's all you can do because you can't control everything (I wish I could have LOL!)

Am I crazy? - Long Island Weddings

A close friend of mine got engaged the night before my wedding. I was very excited & super happy for them and honestly, they were very low-key about it at my wedding. They didn't make the next day all about them... she showed her ring to our friends that were at the wedding & that was about it. If anything, I probably made more of a big deal about it than anyone else did... haha. MOST people I'd imagine would not try to make someone else's wedding about themselves... so I hope your friends were how mine were! Good luck!

I can totally agree with you & that you have a right to be upset - I would be too! And it's not just us brides - husband got a little upset that my sister's bf was going to propose the weekend of our engagement party - not even wedding! LOL
So yeah you want to feel like it's all about you & there's nothing wrong with that! You paid enough money to make your day perfect & unforgetable but yeah I agree with the above posts - you can't control it, hopefully they will be low-key about it, & ppl may think that it's rude. So don't worry about things that you cannot control & enjoy your day!!!!
