Am I crazy if.....

I have my bridesmaid dresses custom made???

I really want to take a dress from the runway and make into a bridesmaid dress!!! Plus I want something that represents my personal style....

Plus *right* next store to my apartment is a custom dress shop for wedding dresses. She said it would cost a little under $200 including alterations for each of the dresses....

Most of the my bridesmaids are cool with the idea and prefer it.

Thats not a bad price at all - as long as you trust the seamstress then you should do it!

I do not think it is crazy. The price you were quoted is actually less than my BM paid for their gowns before alterations!

I am.....I'm having the dress in my album made. They come in the beginning on Feb. So excited!

You would only be crazy if you did this and made them pay like 1000 for it!!!!!!!!!!! but since its a reasonable price and you seem like you have a good plan i think this is a great idea and you should take full advantage of it and i dont think you are crazy at all! Go for it girl!
