DJ & MC- $50 each + dinner
Florist Delivery- $25
Organist- $50
Hair- Not sure yet
Make-up- Not sure yet I am not sure about these- Help- Do I tip the priest?? Banquet Manager?? Anyone else I am missing??

Maintence man? U have to tip the organist. In mine it said they were getting a fee of 250. I have to tip ontop of that!

IMO I think the DJ should get a little bit more.. music plays a big part in the wedding..JMO

I don't know, Thats what I mean, some of them are confusing. Should I tip the organist?? In my contract with the church is does state that I am paying $100 for her service. So I guess I don't have to tip her. I assume that is going right to her. And the maintnence, it says I paid $60 extra for that, so I guess I don't really have to tip them either. This is such a pain in the butt!!

I just realized you put waiters 20-25 EACH...wooow.. So if you have 10 waiters, thats another 200-250 dollars! too much for my blood!

Maitre'd- $3-4 per person- no way i am doing $2-3.. i dont have that kind of money
Captain of the room- $125-$150- not sure what a captain does.. Bridal Attendant- $125-$150
in my contract the 18% gratuity goes to waiters I think.. you're paying them out extra? ____________________________
others:
Limo guy- not sure how much Flower delivery: $25 DJ/MC $50 each plus dinner photography- they are the owners- idont tip right? i am paying for their dinner church organist- $25 singer- $25 church fee- $475-not sure what that covers? do I tip the priest? videographer- $50 plus dinner bartender- giving them $$ but most of our friends worked in bar and will tip generously. who am i missing?

The price per person at our hall included tips for both maitre'd and wait staff..sorry cant help you on this one!

Kristi, I am glad we are on the same wavelength with prices. I forgot about feeding them all. That isn't cheap. Can you belive we are getting married next month?? All I keep saying today is, I am getting married next month. I can't belive its here. When we go back to work on monday, I will only have 22 more days of work til I start my leave on the 5th. I can't belive it.
June262004, I couldn't agree with you more. It is ridiculous the amounts of money to tip on top of the actual service we are paying for. I mean, I figured it our and with all tips added up it is over $1000. That is a nice mini second honey moon, money towards a down payment on a house. But, I guess ya gotta do, what ya gotta do. I am sure I will change some of the tips on the day of depending on the service we receive. The place we are getting married is sorta new, so I am not sure what to expect yet, so we are in kind of a wait and see mode.

I didn't think you had to tip the waiters. I figured that was included in the 18% gratuity the reception site charges on top of the price per person.

Catering Hall: Maitre'd fee - $2.00 per person gratuity - 20%
We don't plan on giving out more money. I think that tip also includes the valet parking and coat room. If the guests want to give extra go ahead, but we're already paying enough $$.
