Nope, not at all!!!
I am in a friends wedding as a bridesmaid...and I didn't even ask her to be in my wedding. You don't have to ask her to be MOH.

I say no. I was the maid of honor at my aunts wedding as well 6 years ago, but she was not my matron of honor, but hse was in my wedding party as a bridesmaid.

Not at all - I was the MOH at my best friends wedding, and she is not even in my wedding party. FH & I decided to have our wedding party family only (all brothers and sisters). As it is we have 5 guys and 5 girls, so if we went with friends our BP would have been 11 guys and 10 girls and we did not want it that big.

it's your day...and if you don't want to hurt her feelings....find something special for her to be whether it be a regular bridesmaid...a greeter....read something

no way. i was made to feel obligated to have my SIL as a bridesmaid...well, that was FUN. and come on, i know she won't have me as a BM!
