Am I okay?

Ok girls- my wedding is in a (very) little bit less than 5 months, and I have not yet:

booked my limos
booked my florist
ordered my bm dresses
ordered my favors
ordered my invites

Am I in big trouble?

not yet but I would definatly order the BM dresses, favors and invites ASAP.

I don't think you're in trouble, but you should get on the invites, dresses and florist!

Then limos - you have plenty of time for favors.

I wouldn't say you were in big trouble but I get the BM dresses and the invites, because those have to ordered. THen work ont he other things.

I would definitly start to get moving though.

I wouldnt' say you are in trouble, but I think I might get started on one of those tasks, especially the BM dresses... JMO

I'm getting married 10/19, just around the same time as you and I have limos and invites left to do.

I got a head start on my favors because it took me FOREVER to find what I was looking for and just ordered them as soon as I found them... you have time for those too!

I am a full time student, and have had no time for this wedding stuff! Thank goodness I am almost done with school....

So I guess bm dresses are the most important? I am waiting for my girls to see it- it is so hard to coordinate times. My MOH will see it on 5/24- is that too late- should I order without her seeing it? I am thinking of using netbride, do I have enough tome for that?

my BM's dresses came in 4-6 weeks. We purchased online, but not netbride. I think 2 more weeks won't make a big difference if you want your MOH to see.

Please breathe! You are going to be fine. We did our whole wedding planning in 5 months!! However, your wedding is at more of a peek time than mine, so coordinating vendors, like florists, maybe a little tougher. But please don't worry, it will all get done.

Yes do BM dresses and florist as soon as you can, but you have time. Your MOH can see the dress that you like on 5/24. Also, if any of your other girls can go see it (even if they are out of town, they can find a shop that sells that dress and go see it -- that is what mine did). Especially if you are using netbride (which is what we did). have your girls go and try on the dress to help determine their size (whether they have to go up or down from the sample, need extra length, etc). Then call netbride. You can call them now (or email them) to get a price quote and find out how much time they need. I ordered mine only about 2 1/2 months before and they arrived perfectly ( but i think there was a rush fee for some of them, so be sure to order as soon as you can to avoid extra charges).

relax. do one thing at a time and it will all get done. you have plenty of time!! i would suggest emailing netbride this weekend and set up appointments with florists next weekend (mothers day is a really hectic time for florist) and before you know it, you will only have invites and limos left!! (ps - you can do invites next month no problem).

Kelly- I have not gotten around to it. That sounds worse than it is- i really am a full time student with a full time internship and a job so I barely have time to breath. Now though, I am starting to get stuff together hopefully!

Sunny, do not feel so bad.

Last night I was in Papyrus for and hour and a half helping this young lady (perfect stranger) pick out invites.

Her wedding is 4th of July!!!!

I agree with Scoop-florist and favors can wait a little while the invites and BM dresses are important at this time.

Don't worry I am about 5 months away and dont have favors, invites, or the BM dresses. I can't decide on the BM color. And the invites I am working on.

You're fine. I'm getting married in 2 1/2 months, and I just bought my dress and ordered my BM dresses last month...so don't worry. But, I did have to pay rush fees for my BM dresses since they are out of state and I needed to give them time to receive them and get alterations.

I'm in school too, I know what you mean. Don't worry-you're fine. Also, your invites can come really quick depending on who you use, I got mine in 10 days once the proof was approved!

If you need vendor suggestions, let me know. I haven't had my wedding yet, but the florist did my sister-in-laws wedding and did an excellent job, and my photographer has done some work for the organization I used to work for and is very good.

Breathe, you're fine...and the best part is you won't have to spend weeks agonizing over font styles or ribbon colors-you won't have time.

P.S. You could donate to charity and have cards made up for guests as favors-if you order them from your invite company you kill two birds with one stone!

Not yet but in a couple of weeks you will be! You should really get everything but the favors done soon. The favors can wait a little!

I got engaged, bought a house, new car, changed jobs, and had a wonderful wedding, all in less than 5 months. (and ALL fully paid by the 2 of us )

ANYTHING is possible...

Oh yeah, cant forget the honeymoon ! that too !

My wedding is the day before yours & I still have to book limos, florist, & favors. I think your fine on your timeline, but the BM dresses really can't wait & longer or else you'll run into rush fees. My invites are done because I ordered during the 50% off sale at PartyCity(they came in in a week, so I definitly could have waited). Today actually starts my vacation from work(thank god), so I hope to get my florist & limos done this week(I have a florist appointment & my mom is emailing for limo quotes). I am also going to start working on my CD favor layout this week, but I know I probably won't finish my favors till the month before the wedding.
