Am I paying to much for alterations?

Am I paying to much for alterations?

I went to someone my Aunt recomended. She said he does great work & he's close by.
He is doing a lot of work on the dress but I have no idea how much these things cost.
I'm getting ........
dress taken up 2'
sides taken in
bra cups put in
bustle-3 loops
ribbon criss crossing in the back to make it look like a corset (even though it's not)
It's going to be $300 - is that average? I was just wondering if I was getting a good price or if I'm getting ripped off.

sounds about right, you are getting alot done so keep that in mind...the norm i see is 300-500 for alterations.

my alterations are capped at $575

Sounds good to me. Mine were capped at $300, but I found out today that it doesn't include the bussle!! Ugh!

okay WHOA. I am paying $810

I'm getting
the hem
the bustle
the sides taken in
the sash shortened
I bought lace & I'm having that added to the bottom
crystals added to the top (lace) and the lace on the bottom
