Am I really immature??

I must admit I still giggle inside a little everytime I see a post that says 'wanna see my STD?' Or 'I got my STD's' or some variation....

I guess I am used to it on here but when I first saw it, when I got home I told FH I wanted to get STDs.

i don' laugh anymore - but it took a while. i remember the first time i saw it - i freaked out and was like oh my god, people are posting that they have STD's - shouldn't that be private!

I giggle to so if you're immature I am too.

I was just working on a biotech case about actual sexually transmitted diseases too so STD means something different to me unless I'm on this site.

I had sent a friend of mine a link to 'my STD' that I made and she called me up asking me what the hell I was talking about and why would I take a picture of my STD to show her? hahahahah I guess I'm so used to being around other brides online, that it didn't even cross my mind that she'd think something like that ;)

I am laughing out loud - literally. Posting pics of STD's or 'help me choose my STD' still crack me up. The first time I saw one of them was a poll around September about which STD? I did not want to see pictures of it or try to pick out which STD the pic might be of. I never did open that post.

The first time I saw a posting with STD, I thought it meant something else!!! Then I figured it out quickly!!

I do the same thing with my co-workers-they heard me call it a STD magnet and everytime I mention them we all crack up

Oh I do the same thing.

STD has become second nature to me and I don't even realize I say it sometimes...The look on peoples faces is priceless!

OMG! I thought I was the only one!! Since joining I dont even think twice about it! But peoples expression's when I use the abbreviation is absolutely hysterical!
