am I supposed to buy...

an aisle runner? We are getting married outside on the back deck of our RH under a tent.

Are you girls buying one?

You can rent one from your florist or buy one from a craft store. I got mine at Michael's for $30-$40. We only got one because it had rained the day before the wedding and wanted to use it in case the ground was still wet. It wasn't, and the patio area where the ceremony was held was clean, so we never ended up using it. So you may not need one.

I am making my own I did a serch on DIY forum on how to do them. My mother can saw, so we agreed I will buy the fabric and my mother will saw the edges with a nice lace. I will add the wording. Do a search on the DIY forum for instructions for aisle runner and you should get some ideas I hope this helps!!1

thats a great idea that I didnt think of! I am a decent sewer and my mother sews great! How long did you make yours? I am not sure how long the aisle will be...did you measure the aisle?

A lot of times the limo company will supply it.

Our RH supplies one, but if they didn't, we would have rented one from the florist.

Oh, Oh , Oh, I know the answer to your question!! I met with Isaias the new general manager yesterday, and he said that they always supplied the aisle runner, which was paperish, and he said that he was planning on purchasing a carpet aisle runner. He said that with the carpet aisle runner, we weren't going to allowed to use real petals for a petal toss, we would need to use fake. If I were you, I would e mail him or call him to confirm this, but they def supply the aisle runner!
