Am I supposed to match the centerpieces and boquests?
I'm clueless when it comes to flowers...am I supposed to match the centerpieces and bouquets? Do they have to be the same flowers? The same colors??

I dont think so. I think the same colors would be nice though.... My centerpieces are mixed flowers but they all have roses in common.

I'm not at all. My bo-k is going to be dark red roses and callas, my girls will be ivory roses and callas. My centerpieces are going to be mixed fall colored flowers. I will probably use the same flowers from the CP to decorate my chuppa.

You can do whatever your heart pleases! My girl's bo-ks are going to match the centerpieces but, that is just what I wanted.

I am using my flowers as my theme, so yes they will be very similar ... But I don't think there is a def do and don't on this..

I don't see why. I saw Colin Cowie on Oprah and he said there should be a different theme for the ceremony and the reception because people get tired of seeing the same arrangements and the same theme. I totally agree. If you use different flowers - people are more apt to notice them and appreciate them (I think so anyway)

That's an interesting point.
But if they are very different, you may not wnat to use the bridesmaid's bouquet's on the dais or sweethart table or cake table, as is sometimes done.
