I think you should do it!!!!!! Just make sure you have them fit it to you with those on and not heels because the dress will drag.......I would have totally done that but my wedding was in december haaa

Nope I want to too!!! I'm thinknig either comfy sandals/flip flops are low-top converse. I hate heals, I basically wear them once a year at my company Xmas party in NJ and I whine the whole time! I am really not a girly girl

I am so with you on that. My mother is basically having a heart attack everytime I tell her that I plan on wearing some sort of Skechers.

I really wanted to wear flip flops for the whole thing, but my mom hated the idea... so i appeased her and wore shoes for the ceremony and then changed into my flip flops for the reception.

I went to a wedding where the bride wore rhinestone studded converse. I though it was cute, and she danced up a storm.

Totally go for it!!!!!! I bought ivory slippers that I might wear, and I might get flip flops too and see which is more comfy- but I am def NOT wearing heels at the reception! I'll wear them to the ceremony because I think I walk better and stand straighter with heels- but after the first dance they are being ditched!!!

Yes, depending on your gown, people do see your shoes. I loved my shoes, and you could definitely see them. I'm glad I spent the money on them. I also bought a really cute pair of Chuck Taylors in case the shoes got uncomfortable, but I never needed them.
I think that if it's important to you to wear flip flops, then wear them. But I also think that it's your wedding and if there's any time in your life to get dressed up from head to toe, your wedding is the day. Why not wear beautiful shoes to go with your beautiful dress? I was happy when I bought my shoes, happy when I put them on that morning, and happy whenever I saw the flash of the sequins when I walked. And they were comfortable, too. The choice isn't only between horribly uncomfortable heels or flipflops, there are nice shoes in between. Like mine! And as I said, unless you have a huge ballgown skirt, people do see your shoes. Especially if you do the garter.
I love shoes, and see wearing flip flops on your wedding day as a waste of a fabulous opportunity to wear beautiful shoes. If you want flip flops, get a gorgeous pair of decorated thongs, they do exist.
