I'm using it. I'm not THRILLED with the design choices, but I didn't care much about it. It tastes great though!!!

My place did the same- showed me these ugly cakes from the 1980's. So I told them I wanted 3 tied square cake on top of each other and all smooth sides. No flowers or decroations on it.

I honestly don't remember even seeing cakes.. but they told me its D&D bakery in farmingdale and that we just bring in a pic of a cake and they SHOULD be able to replicate it... but it might charge extra for certain things.
a friend of mine was married at v.e.r.d.i's a year ago and she LOVED her cake, everyone said it was delish... its not my style at all.. but she found a pic online, brought it to them and they did it.

Nope, I used the RH's cake, picked one of their designs and it came out beautifully!
ETA: They did show me some really old fashioned cake designs. There were only 1 or 2 out of about 10 designs that I liked at all. But I couldn't see spending the money to upgrade it- it wasn't worth it.

I'm using my RH's. We're splurging for a VH, I think its pretty unecessary to splurge on an upgraded cake too.

Jillian - your cake came out great! The ones i got to pic from were all flowery and old fashioned. Yours is really cute!

MY RH has 2 house bakeries to choose from. I get a credit to use whomever I choose.

I am using my from the RH but that is because I personally know the baker. He and I grew up together! It is actually outsourced to a local baker so I am pretty happy with it.

Awww thanks!! Trust me though, our design had all these flowers on it, too. We asked them to leave the flowers out and just do the base design. Here's what the cake originally would've looked like:
