Am I the only one...

who felt a little as soon as the ball dropped on New Year's Eve and it was 2006. Is it too late to elope?

I know exactly how you feel! I was thinking yesterday that we should have done a destination wedding.

I was so excited as the ball dropped, my heart was pounding in my chest!!! My FH got all emotional and even started to cry!! I couldn't believe it. I think we both felt the magnitude of it all!!!

yeah, all of a sudden it feels like the wedding is soooo much closer now that the new year is here - I am excited and scared!

I had the same feeling...combined with major nausea. Even though I'm not til November, the fact that it is now 2006 makes it much more real. Exciting...but very scary!

You are so not alone. On Sunday I was feeling very overwhelmed & registering yesterday didn't help. All of a sudden it feels like there is so much to do & so little time. I am sure we will all be okay though.

I agree completely with this.

I will say though that I DIDN'T want to think about the wedding, but I was with one of my bm's and the first think she says to us is 'you're getting married this year' I was like

DON'T REMIND ME!!!

no really, it didn't even cross my mind!

I am not much of an anticipator... everyone's always like 'hey your going to/seeing/buying/having so and so, aren't you excited'

and I am never excited. Not until I am in the moment. People must think I am dead inside! haha.
