who has an amazing relationship with there future mother in law? Given we have our differences and all but she treats me so well and we have a great relationship.
Last night she told me that she keeps saying on accident that shes 'Mother of the Bride' lol but then says, 'Well, actually Mother of the Groom but really Mother of Both.'
I was just wondering - are there any other brides out there who adore there future mother in laws?
Plus, I cant forget my future father in law - hes the best. Im really marrying into an amazing family (not perfect) but we all get along great.
Oh and it cant be an act - I've known them for 11+ years and have been with my FI for over 6.

His brother is cold, but his parents are very sweet - not close, but when we are together I have a great time with them - also his sister is a nice person...

I love my MIL. She always made me feel like I was part of the family. She always gives me compliments and says wonderful things about me to my family and to DH. On my wedding day, she told me how she always wanted two daughters and was so happy her wish was coming true.

you're very lucky...in the beginning FMIL was not very nice, but now that I am not going anywhere she has been nicer

I have great future in-laws. I have a great relationship with both of them. I hear alot of stories that their in-laws are just so horrible. So far, with you guys it's good. Thank god!!

I have a good relationship with my in-laws. I talk to my FMIL on the phone everyday and the rest of the family has treated me like I was apart of their family since day one!

It's funny that you posted this because the other day i was reading a post... thinking 'i am so lucky to be marrying into my FH's family.'
My FH's sister is my MOH and i love her! I think we'd be friends even if i wasn't marrying her brother.
My FH's mother & father are the best! In fact, when i first started dating my FH... i was a little nervous and taken back at how normal his family is. I've never had that. They're like the Huxtables or something!
I absolutely adore his whole entire family! I've felt like i was part of the family since day 1... which has always been nice since my family hasn't always been the greatest.
Back in high school... it crossed my mind how upset i'd be if my FH and i broke up because i'd also miss his family so much! That's how much i love them.
My FIL's are amazing! I really do love them. I feel so lucky.... I have a really great relationship with all of them. Iit is so nice!

I get along great too! His Dad is a bit annoying, but they are both so kind and generous. His Mom still cries when she thinks about when my brother died. It's sweet.

For the most part I do have a great relationship with my FMIL. She knows I'm a picky eater and takes it into consideration whenever we all go out to dinner. In fact she'll ask the waiter if they have my favorites if they're not on the menu! If she sees something in a store that she knows I'll love she'll buy it for me. She was so honored that I wanted her opinion on the wedding dress I bought. It meant a lot to me that she felt that way.
My FFIL though..I do have some bitter feelings about how he made me feel when we talked $$$ and the wedding. I'll probably get over it in the future.
FSIL, wish we were closer. Sometimes I think there is a break through but then it seems we're still miles apart.

I really like them a lot. The only problem I have is that they are from a small town upstate and have some sterotypes about LI, especially, Jewish People from LI.... like we are all rich here. And a # of people from his family asked if the wedding was going to be black tie because 'all' the Jewish weddings they have been to are black tie. I'd like to know what number 'all' is, 1? maybe 2? They have also given us issues about spending money on things, because they can't seem to understand that the cost of living here is a lot higher than it is there. And they also keep comparing prices of things for our wedding to the prices of FH's brother and sister. They got married 10 and 12 years ago, upstate. Is that in anyway comparable???? Sorry I had to vent, these things have been stressing me out lately.
But I really do like them!!

My MIL was a wonderful woman!!! Very warm and caring.
Unfortunatley, I lost her to lung cancer 6 weeks after our wedding.
