Ok so here's the deal. I booked my DJ, High Energy and when I met with him I really liked him, he had a lot of thank you cards, he had good reviews on LIW. He was the only DJ that I met with, but after leaving him I was SO excited. Now that I just sent him my deposit, I'm worrying. I'm not so happy anymore. I haven't seen him in any bridal showcases, and he doesn't have any coming up b/c this is when they start getting really busy, and for some reason, I'm more nervous than excited now. The DJ is probably one of the most important things to me regarding my wedding day and I'm nervous now that I'm having doubts. I hope I didn't make a mistake by booking the 1st DJ I met with. Am I the only one who is excited at first and then really nervous about making a wrong decision?? Sorry this is so long, but it's been bothering me...

First off, just because you have not seen the DJ at a showcase does not mean you made the wrong choice. I only saw 1 DJ myself
When you meet a vendor, I truly believe that you feel it in your heart when you know it's the right one.
I would not second guess yourself

I wouldnt worry about, I actually felt the same way when we booked the band,, Hence = we became groupies,, I was like lets go see them again & again , it turned into a bi weekly concert,, Its prob cuz its the first thing u have booked. Stage jitters ya know,,
Do a search on him , Im sure someone has something to say ,,

I wouldn't worry if I were you! Why don't you call and ask him if you can go see him in action? Alot of vendors will let you hang around when they are doing a party, that may give you a better idea of how he is in a wedding.

i only saw one DJ myself bc i knew thats who we wanted.....and i think a good review beats seeing them at a showcase! dont worry girl!

It's probably some kind of 'buyer's remorse'. Its only natural for us to second guess ourselves - we're plunking down a LOT of money for these things!!!
Like you said, he has a lot of thank you cards and great reviews on LIW. I'm positive you made a good decision!!!

thanks so much girls...I should be second guessing myself... I loved him and was so excited when I met him, so I'm just going to stop worrying and remember how excited I was when I met him. Thanks so much for all your help!! I feel a lot better now
