I am feeling a bit overwhelemed by all this wedding planning! I thought I would have gotten everything done by now...planning my friends wedding with them was so much nicer! I know this sounds wierd and all, but I think that planning a wedding is a pain in the a$$ and I am starting to wish that we eloped. Not to mention !! I know once the day comes I will be happy, but I really need to get cracking here.....

Don't worry everything will fall into place...believe me I know the feeling. There is just not enough time to get everything done, between working to jobs and to get everything done. The last couple of weeks I have reached the breaking point. The next task to tackle ot so mail out my STD's.

It will all be OK
We only have our church, reception, DJ, Photographer and DOC done. NOTHING else done at all......I'm not stressing though. It will get done :)

dont worry - i had one of those days this week...i was like holy sh!t - we are spending all thsi money on one day but the i thought if i did it any other way i would so regreat it

awww---it's okay! you're having one 'those days'! i can't tell you how many times i've had a days where i say 'W T F are we spending all this $$$?? we could've eloped!' wedding planning is fun on some days--and STRESS on others. you're not alone!
just remember--that it will truly be worth it in the end. and you are totally right in having that feeling from time to time that it's just too overwhelming!

i think it's totally natural....and I know you probably don't want to hear this but you really do have plenty of time...my wedding is just about 6 months away and I only just last week got to flowers and limos and still have plenty left to do. If you need a break, take it!!

I have felt overwhelmed for awhile-but just keep reminding yourself that it will all come together! I agree it is a PITA and I think sometimes it should plan itself...but it will get done and it will be the greatest day of your life!!! Try to enjoy it, I have been told that it goes so fast and after its over you wish you would have enjoyed the planning process!

Done? Your just under a year before the wedding, you can't do it all. Things are little bits at a time and some times large bunches at a time. Planning your own is not nearly as fun as planning someone else - all my cousin's have said that. It has it's high points and low points. It comes together. Good luck!

It will all be worth it. I wouldn't let anything get to you. We all want the perfect day and if it comes out half as perfect as we want it, then we are all blessed.

You are not the only one. If I could have someone plan it and tell when where to be and when to be there, I would do it. I am very excited but with a 4 month old baby, I just don't have the time. I am so behind myself.

I agree. Yesterday, thinking I might pay $700 for hour derves, I was like W T F? Can't we just buy a cheese plate But, you'll get through it. Just be positive and take some time for yourself and FH. Good luck, we're here for you
