FH and I never had one. We've been together so long and everyone knows him so the wedding will be enough. Dont feel bad!

i didn't my friends got together to wish us congrats at a bar/lounge in the city, i am completely content with that

Nope.... we're just having a dinner, with immediate family 19 people total, and it's more of a family meeting than anything else.

we didnt ....we got engaged....then my older guy made his communion then there will be my shower and then the wedding then the little guys communion....I felt it was to much

my parents waited too long to ask us if we wanted one and by that time we were past our one year mark and already booked the hall....and was just too close to the wedding date to have one...

We really wanted to have one..but oh well! We didnt see a point to pay for it ourselves.

yeah i mean i dont want to invite any bridal party or friends cause they are all ready going to be doing so much.

Plus the cost.

i didn't!! don't feel bad about it. we paid for everything ourselves and just didn't have the ability to budget it!

we had a nice dinner at a restaurant that was immediate family only

actually it wasnt even immediate family only aunts and uncles bc we have too many cousins LOL

it was nice and simple

I didn't have one..... we just saw it unnecessary because we have sooooo much family and wouldn't know who to invite and for us there's no need to be spending even more money. I mean, if its within your budget and you dont mind planning another party, go for it but don't get worked up if you can't or don't want to.

My parents made me have one, but it turned out really fun! I dont think its a requirement AND its not a cheap endeavor. Spend the money on the wedding instead!
