Am I the only one?

First off Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to my LIW girls!

Am I the only one who is sad that this is my last single Christmas? Now I have to split holidays with my FILs... which I am not too thrilled about... Sometimes they're not so bad.... but others they make me want to . This Christmas my mom made dinner... we asked them to come over at 4 PM... they didn't show up until 5:30. No explanation no apology.

My FBIL was supposed to come and then didn't show up at the last minute. He decided to go to his girlfriend's house instead. They've been dating a week. In his defense, he's only 18... but it was still selfish.

So I'm just frustrated that I need to split my life with these people FOREVER.

It's a good thing i love FH!

We've been splitting since we have been dating but it is surreal.

We've been splitting the holidays since we starting dating, but this year was weird for me as it was the first xmas not being in my moms house, so it was kind of strange and different

I am not a fan of splitting the holidays either. It's madness! I'm not sad about it being my last as a single gal because I love FH and I can't wait to start our lives together, but I feel like I need a vacation after the last two days! Both our parents are divorced so that's hard enough. Christmas Eve we go to his Grandma's house and open presents with his dad's side of the family and then him and I open presents when we go home. Christmas day we went to his mom's house for breakfast and open presents there, then we went to my mom's house with her side of the family the rest of the night. Now tomorrow we need to see my dad. Oh vey, that's a lot of family in 3 days! Who needs a drink? I do!

I already have to split the holidays. Its so hard being away from my family on Chrimstas Eve since we do alot of fish. My FIL's didnt know how to cook flounder Im just glad I got to come home and spend Chrimstas Day with my family. I feel so selfish about it sometimes.

we've been together for so long we've split the holidays already but its just weird thinking this was my last christmas at home!

me..i started crying and flipping out last night..esp. bc i still live at home..

we have been splitting them but now it's like concrete that it's really going to be done and we have to do this and that..hurt no one's feelings..ugh sad

we've been living together and spending holidays together for years, but his family is jewish and not american, so he comes to our thanksgiving and christmas. i just have to go up to his parents' AFTER the holiday itself...so i miss thanksgiving weekend with my family...and the days after christmas. i got lucky!!!

in a way im sad, but on the other hand we have been splitting up the holidays for years so thats not going to change, and next year will be our first married christmas
